tired of perfection. very bored of perfection. clothing can tell a story, it can evoke feeling, it can serve as a medium for the transmission of energy from creator to canvas. or it can just cover you.

my pieces are imperfectly imperfect. i see four quadrants-- perfectly perfect (mass production), perfectly imperfect (runway styles), imperfectly perfect (second hand, upcycling) and imperfectly imperfect. i believe stories are conveyed in the latter two quadrants. having said this, i'm most captivated by building my pieces from the ground up, inspiring each and every stage of production. making each piece uniquely mine. my pieces under this label will never, ever be perfect.

my pieces under this label will not last forever. they will be well made, but like every other thing in this life, they will deteriorate. they will take on stories and identities after they leave my hands. they will transform, they will be altered, they will exist. and then they will return to dust. ashes to ashes.

my pieces will be hard to find, i can only make so much with my own hands. but i hope you find them. and i hope that you feel my hands on yours.
